The small glass microbeads that make up the reflective strip determine the service life of the strip. In addition to the friction and damage
caused during wearing, rubbing or wringing them dry during the cleaning of the reflective vest can cause damage to the glass microbeads
and reduce reflectivity. Therefore, we should try to avoid secondary friction damage to the reflective vest during the cleaning process: try
to wash it by hand, dissolve neutral detergent in cold water (warm water about 40℃ in winter), soak the dirty reflective vest in it for 20-30
minutes, and then gently rub it by hand. After soaking the heavily stained areas on the collar and cuffs, you can use a soft bristled brush to
gently brush it. After washing, do not use a spin dryer to dehydrate. Hang in a cool place and dry in the shade.
Precautions for cleaning reflective vests:
1. If it is an LED reflective vest, be sure to remove the wiring, switch box, and LED lights before cleaning.
2. It can be gently washed in cold water and allowed to air dry naturally. It cannot be wrung dry or dry cleaned.
3. Try not to rub, just wipe the surface with a damp towel.
4. Reflective materials can only be wiped with neutral cleaning agents. Do not use highly corrosive substances, such as disinfectant, or
alkaline washing products such as laundry detergent and soap.
5. Reflective vests are different from other clothes after all, and it is not recommended to clean them frequently. Try to reduce the number
of cleaning times to extend the product's life and maintain the reflective material's performance. Dry cleaning & bleaching are prohibited.
